Jake’s strives to take advantage of the latest systems available in Operations.  Our most recent upgrades:

  • Completed our sixth major expansion in 25 years, bringing our total facility capacity to 90,000 square feet and over 1.5 million cubic feet of refrigerated and frozen capacity.
  • Represented by 25 trucks, 19 tractors with trailers and 7 trucks with 20 foot refrigerated bodies
  • Installed the Phoenix Warehouse System from IDS in fall of 1999.
  • Complete tracking of all inventory by each slot with the item and quantity in each slot.
  • Tracking the receiving and expiration dates of each product by slot.
  • Systems notification for replenishment and proper rotation for product freshness.
  • Planned Item Retrieval (PIR) systems used for rotation freshness and slow-moving space maximization allowing greater product variety.
  • Prepared for Radio Frequency Warehousing (RF) receiving, put away, and pulling.
  • Jake’s has ample real estate to nearly double our capacity at our present location. Plans for the next decade include moving locations and building a new facility.
