The ITS department is the technology provider for the Jake's community. The ITS department's service base includes our valued customers, suppliers, other Jake's divisions and departments. Jake's has been recognized nationally for our application of leading edge technologies in support of our customer communities.

The ITS department provides all voice & data services to Jake's. These services include phone, fax, voicemail, email, PC, Laptop, Midrange, Main Frame and Internet applications.  Do you have special integration requirements? Scope of Services

The ITS department employs a suite of highly integrated software products to provide services to the Jake's community.

• ERP System - Fully integrated real time on line computing system including the following major modules: GL, AR, AP, Vendor Management, Sales Order Processing, Inventory Management, Delivery Management, Sales and Purchasing Analysis, Promotion Management, Credit Management and Trade Show. 
• Advanced Purchasing Applications - Provided by E3 Systems. Includes turn buying, centralized purchasing, demand tracking, forward buy analysis, load balancing and diverter buying. 
• Advanced Warehouse Management System - Fully integrated best of breed WMS solution. Allows for computer directed work assignment and productivity tracking. Integration of wireless and voice data collection support with material handling equipment. 
• Sales Force Automation - Our skilled sales force carries state of the art Internet enabled laptop solutions providing the DSR with multiple customer order guides, comprehensive pricing capabilities, near real time sales and credit management tools, productivity tools including report generator and menu planning modules to help the customer. A customer desktop version of this software is available to run on your computer. 
• PowerNet eOrder Entry System - Internet based customer self-service Ordering System. This solution allows real time on line entry of customer orders via the Internet. This is a 100% browser based solution. Some features include: On line Ordering, Product Database inquiries, inventory status and availability, sales analysis & reporting, on line electronic support, account status and statement balance. These features are in service today at many of Jake's valued customer locations. 
• Powerful System Integration Tools - Jake's specializes in integrating its customers' legacy systems into our system. Hand held Telxon, Symbol and others including POS system integration. ANSI x12 EDI formats and XML based communication protocols. We can process your electronic orders or PO's and acknowledge via EDI or other proprietary formats including electronic billing. 
• Research and Development - Jake's is actively pursuing business intelligence tools. We are webifying our internal systems and processes for access over the Internet. We are formalizing our eLoyalty plans for our customers which will include coupon tracking and yet to be announced web only programs. New Palm OS solutions are in development including Order Management, Inventory Tracking, Account Management and electronic statements. For our supplier community, we are researching Supply Chain Execution environments with integration to pass through to the operator level.
