In May of 1946, our founder, Kervin E. Jacob (Jake), started delivering eggs “door-to-door” to household customers, and since then, our history has been one of consistently delivering quality food, great value and excellent service.

Today, Jake’s Finer Foods is still family-owned and delivering quality food and providing excellent service. We have grown to be a full-line foodservice distributor, and our customers now include foodservice companies, independent restaurants, multi-unit restaurants and retail foodservices companies in Texas and western parts of Louisiana. In addition, Jake’s has become one of the most flexible foodservice distributors in the industry, able to offer custom solutions tailored to meet your needs from an impressive array of products, resources and services.
