Founded in 2000 by Executive Chef Helmut Lamparter and third-generation foodservice veteran Bob Lorino, Gourmet Ranch is widely known as a Houston-based processor and wholesaler of fine quality meats. In April of 2011, Gourmet Ranch was acquired and became a part of the Jake’s family. The Gourmet Ranch brand features a vast selection of aged prime, choice and select USDA. graded products, specializing in custom cuts of beef, poultry, lamb, veal, pork and specialty game.  Gourmet Ranch serves fine restaurants throughout Texas, and discriminating diners throughout the world.
