Maryland business sends donation funds to Houston restaurants
October 25, 2017 – Houston, TX: Jake’s Finer Foods announced today that Saval Foodservice, a broad line foodservice distributor in Elkridge, MD, has donated more than $14,000 to help Houston-area restaurants impacted by Hurricane Harvey.
Saval Foodservice employees, along with several Saval Foodservice restaurant customers, organized and led fundraisers that ultimately generated the donations. Jake’s Finer Foods worked in partnership with Saval Foodservice in distributing the donations to some of its hardest-hit restaurant customers in the greater Houston area.
